H&S performance improvement

Continual improvement is needed in order for us to meet our targets for reducing work related accidents and incidents and therefore, remains a key strategy.

 

Speakmans Construction realises that in order to deliver continuous improvement throughout the Group Companies it relies on management and workforce championing it.

Speakmans Construction will continue to monitor and develop its approved contractors register through the application of its Core Criteria which has been developed based on the core health and safety criteria contained in the Approved Code of Practice for the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007.

Speakmans fully comply with Appendix four of the "Core Criteria for demonstration of competence" under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 and have successfully completed many contracts as Main Contractor where CDM Regulations have been deemed appropriate.

Speakmans Construction will continue to collate accident statistics in order to use for trend analysis, enabling comparisons to be made which will facilitate ongoing performance to be made.
