Speakmans History

Speakmans Construction is one of the North West's leading Building Contractors. We have been established since 1906 in the North of Manchester, and started our trade as F. Speakman & Son (Plumbers) Ltd.

However, our unique selling point of ‘our ability to work around people’ has continually evolved and is the corner stone of our service offering.

In 1976 when the current Directors acquired the company, Speakmans Construction then became part of the Peakway Construction Group.

We now directly employ over 150 people for a variety of trades and office roles.  Our employees work from our 3 offices in Manchester, Burnley and Blackpool. 

Speakmans growth has led to servicing customers across the North West for maintenance and nationally for refurbishment projects.
