Message from the Group Health and Safety Manager

Through my years of working as a health and safety practitioner, I have come to realise that ‘change is the only constant’. In the world of health and safety management we have to overcome many obstacles; the negative image of health and safety portrayed by the media, by an ever growing claims culture and a greater use of target setting. In order to address these I have come to realise that experience, innovation and best practice have to be used in equal measure along with considering, embracing and promoting health and safety as a mainstream business management function, which is essential in order for the Group to promote sound corporate responsibility and governance.

My vision for Peakway Construction Group Health and Safety is that it is accessible, responsive and accountable for all employees, clients and prospective clients and I will endeavour to work diligently towards continuously improving the Peakway Construction Group Health and Safety culture.
